1. Basic Information:

Hou Meng, male, from xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, PhD, Associate professor.

Educational Background:

September 2008 - June 2012: Lanzhou University, Ecology, undergraduate students;

September 2012 - June 2021: Lanzhou University, Ecology, PhD.

Work Experience:

July 2021 –August 2024 Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Post-doctor;

September 2024 – Present: Northwest A&F University,College of Grassland Agriculture,Associate professor

2. Research Interest:

Plant-Insect interaction, grassland community ecology, plant invasion

3. Project Undertaken:

National Natural Science Foundation of China, Pollinator regulated mechanisms for the coexistence of insect-pollinated plants in the alpine meadow community in the eastern Tibetan Plateau,2023-2025, 300,000 RMB;

Natural Science Foundation of Jilin Province, Mechanism of plant-pollinator interaction in restoring biodiversity in degraded Songnen Meadow steppe, 2023-2025, 80,000 RMB.

Research Initiation Fund of Northwest A&F University, 2024-2027, 200,000 RMB.
